Embroidery
Heartland Embroidery & Screen Printing currently has 7 embroidery heads that run full time. We offer direct embroidery as well as applique. We tend to do direct embroidery more often on left chest designs and applique on full fronts. We have a wide range of thread colors to choose from (only a small selection is shown) as well as a number of plain and textured applique materials. Embroidery is priced on the number of stitches in the design. Our rate is $1.25/1,000 stitches. Heartland Embroidery has over 20,000 designs on hand (Dakota Collectibles) or you may bring in a custom design. A custom design may require a one time digitizing set-up charge. Please call for a quote on the design your team or company is interested in. Our turnaround time is usually between one and two weeks depending on the size of the order and where the garments ship from. As some garments take three to four days to arrive. You can provide us with a deadline date and we will gladly meet it. At Heartland Embroidery we can order garments for you or you may bring in garments that you have purchased elsewhere. Applique Full Front
For Full Fronts, applique is a great option to look into. It replaces areas of stitches with a material of your choice. That material is then, most often, stitched down with a simple zig-zag stitch. By choosing applique over standard embroidery you are eliminating stitches; therefore, lessening your overall cost.

Direct Embroidery Left Chest
Standard embroidery is the way to go on a left chest design. A left chest design typically is not any bigger than 4" by 4". Using an applique material in a space this small is not usually cost effective. The minimum left chest charge is $5 and rarely goes beyond $10.
